Donald T. Benson, Healthcare Industry Expert is an accomplished Senior Executive offering 45 plus years of the caliber of successes and functional skill sets sought after by leading enterprises and corporations today. 

Mr. Benson is a skilled leader with diversified experience managing a broad range of management issues in multiple locations and culturally diverse environments. He has held senior executive positions for such Fortune 500 companies as CIGNA, Aetna, Coventry Health Care and Connecticut General. Mr. Benson also served in executive leadership positions with The Methodist Health Care System in Houston, TX. Don’s most recent position was President and CEO of TriSurant (a large healthcare TPA), in Houston.

Benson’s successes serving on Boards of Directors have included a wide and diverse group ranging from non-profits, to private for profit companies to public boards. Currently he is Chairman of the Board for a managed service/technology company and Chairman of the Audit Committee for a large mutual fund company. 

Mark F. Weiss is a healthcare attorney and entrepreneur with a focus on empowering physicians to empower patients.

Mr. Weiss is the founder of The Mark F. Weiss Law Firm, representing healthcare clients on a national and international basis. The firm’s primary areas of focus are ambulatory surgery centers and other freestanding facilities, large physician-owned medical groups, and extremely entrepreneurial physicians involved in a wide range of healthcare ventures.

Mr. Weiss is the founder and CEO of American ASC Partners, an acquirer of ambulatory surgery centers. He sits on the boards of Prime Path Healthcare Partners and Ronin Healthcare.

Mr. Weiss is the author of multiple books and hundreds of articles on healthcare business and legal issues, and a frequent speaker at healthcare business conferences. From 2002 to 2013, he held an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where he developed and taught a seminar series on the business and legal issues affecting physicians.
